Our first destination is Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often described as an open-air museum. This beautifully preserved medieval town is a showcase of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. Stroll its narrow cobblestone streets and you’ll discover landmarks like the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, with its famous Radovan’s Portal, the Kamerlengo Fortress, and the Cipiko Palace.
During your 45-minute visit, you’re free to explore at your own pace whether it’s photographing centuries-old buildings, relaxing at a waterfront café, or browsing small artisan shops for local souvenirs. The lively promenade offers a perfect spot for capturing the Adriatic coastline in all its glory.
Blue lagoon
Next, we head to the breath-taking Blue Lagoon, located between Drvenik Veli and Drvenik Mali. This natural paradise is famous for its crystal-clear water that shifts through brilliant shades of turquoise. With warm, shallow depths and a sandy seabed, it’s ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or simply floating under the sun.
Beneath the surface, you’ll find a vibrant underwater world schools of colourful fish weaving through seagrass and patches of white sand creating a perfect natural swimming pool. With two full hours to enjoy, you can snorkel, sunbathe, or just soak up the peaceful atmosphere that makes this one of Croatia’s most loved spots.
Beach bar Borkko at Ciovo
Our final stop brings a touch of laid-back luxury. Located in Branac Bay, just outside Trogir, Beach Bar Borkko is a stylish seaside retreat. White flowing drapes sway in the breeze above natural wood décor, fishing nets, and woven shades, creating a bohemian-chic atmosphere.
Here, you can sink into netted lounge beds above the water, sip a cool drink, or simply take in the panoramic sea views. With about 45 minutes to relax, it’s the perfect way to end the day before our return to Split with speedboat.
